Serving: The Last Church Style of 2017

It’s the last day of 2017 and good riddance!! Lol. But before you think this is a post of “woe is me”, depicting how awful this year was for me...it’s not! However, as terrible as this year has been, I never want to dismiss the pain and disappointment this year has caused me. But I refuse to stay there. It’s not the first bad year in my life and probably won’t be the last of my life. Nonetheless the great thing about THIS year is that it’s over!

I cannot let this year end without reflecting on the many blessings that God has given me, mainly Him being a keeper! Yes very “churchy” but oh so true! With everything I faced this year, the lessons learned from each of my challenges made each of them worth it.

I’ve gained things I never knew I needed. I’ve experienced love in ways I’ve never imagined. I’ve been able to develop deeper connections with people I love the most. I’ve been afforded many opportunities that helped me to grow and evolve with many more to come!

No one ever enters a new year expecting the worse (at least I hope not) and entering into 2018 is no exception! I’m excited to see everything God has in store for me and everyone connected to me! Here’s to 2018!! Happy New Year!!
