Serving: Beware

People who are the closest to us can often times be the ones that hurt us the most. Reason being, we want to believe that because they love us, they won’t do anything to hurt us. That isn’t always  true. In all fairness it may not always be intentional. I’m a firm believer that our past experiences can determine how we view the world as adults and how we engage with others. However, even in that, it still doesn’t mean we have to accept it. People only can do to us what we allow. It’s imperative to dictate how people should treat you  and hold them accountable when they don’t do so accordingly. Love is much more than words (refer to my last post)! Guard your heart by protecting your space. Everyone shouldn’t have the same access to you, even if they may once did. It’s ok to say no! No to negativity, no to manipulation, no to foolishness, etc! When you walk in excellence and confidence, others have no choice but to follow suit!

The only drama I like in my life is in my clothes! For my look today I decided to play with dramatic sleeves.

To keep it cute and comfy, I added a pencil skirt and my favorite lucite booties.

Hope you enjoy!
