Serving: Church Style

Growing up we imagine that our lives will turn out a certain way. We tell ourselves, that at this age I'll have this or by that age I'll have that; at least that was the case for me. I could not have been more wrong! Currently in my early thirties, I never imagined things in my life would be the way that they are currently.  Good, bad, or indifferent, I never thought that this would be my life! However, one of the main things that I'm grateful for, are unexpected moments that get me through tough situations; divine interruptions rather. Moments that you know for a fact are orchestrated by God. For me most of those moments involve some of my closest family and friends. God has a way of placing the most unlikely people in your path. Most of the time you never knew you needed them until you have them. I'm grateful for those moments and am very appreciative of the people involved. So my encouraging word for today is that even during difficult times, appreciate the people who get you through. In any capacity. #NoteToSelf

Things have been so chaotic in my life lately, some days I honestly feel like I'm losing my mind! So of course my creativity has been inhibited. However, my goal is to remain consistent with this blog. Chronicling those times when I'm uninspired. My goal is to one day look back on how far I've come. Remembering that even when I couldn't trace God, He was still with me. Even through blogging.

Dress down Sunday's are still in effect. For my look today, I channeled a popular character, Beetlejuice!lol Stripes are always a fun way to stand out. So for my look today I paired a striped blazer with my black and white striped pants. To keep with the casual vibe, I threw on a gray tee and nude pumps.

Surprisingly, I had the cutest necklace that complimented the look perfectly.

Hope you enjoy!
