Whether it's on Sunday morning, during a casual conversation, or even reading it on the back of US currency, trusting in God has been a concept that has been adopted by the masses! However, no one really talks about how difficult it can be. It's easy to trust in Him when things are going well, however chances are, most of us if not all of us, is faced with some sort of situation that is out of our control. A situation that can only be resolved by something bigger and greater than ourselves. The gag in that observation, is we all trust in things/people that are flawed and to a certain degree will eventually fail us. When they do fail us we're often times shocked! Imagine putting that same kind of faith in one who literally cannot lie or fail. Oh the peace we will have! His promises assures us that He always has our backs. Even in the midst of our hardships, He's always with us. That alone is comforting. The key is to believe. I'm speaking to myself this morning, make a choice to believe and trust in God!
Summer months are reserved for casual Sunday's! So for this Sunday, I decided to throw on some jeans, a deconstructed top and some lace ups.
Chill and cool was my approach this morning. Hopefully it was achieved.
