During the past week I was faced with the daunting task of putting an end to a 17 year relationship. Without disclosing too much, let's just say that it was a situation that was inhibiting me from growing and evolving emotionally. Having thought I accomplished this task four years ago, it was something that I just buried and not dealt with completely! Not dealing with the reasons behind it, or the emotions surrounding it, not dealing with the pain, I've noticed that it has affected all of my other relationships. Last Thursday, I made a definitive decision to let go and face the pain. Probably one of the most difficult things I ever had to do. Letting go of what was comfortable and familiar, and embracing the unknown. I'm still going through the process of dealing with all of the emotions surrounding the closure and dealing with the pain but I'm believing God for complete and total emotional healing! Cutting of soul ties and restoring hope in love again! So my encouraging word for today is to face what you know is holding back. Whatever IT may be!! Close it out, surrender to God, hold on to Him, go through the pain...and Let. It. Go!!
Even on dressed down Sunday's, if I feel the need to get dressed up, I will!! So today I opted for a dressy printed suit!!
Paired with a wrinkled gray top and red pumps, created a casual yet put together vibe.
