Serving: Church Style

I am still relishing my past birthday weekend. It was so simple and fun. I just wanted to be surrounded by the people that I love the most and that was definitely accomplished. After coming off the splendor of a wonderful weekend, this week I decided to take a little break. It's good to recognize when it's time to rest and man I needed it!

I've been consumed with so many emotions about my 32nd  year, however I'm more excited than anything. It's easy to allow negative circumstances (past and present) to determine your outlook, but I've learned, through trial and error, it's ALWAYS  best to keep a positive one. Staying committed to being a better person requires complete attention on the creator. It also requires a level of trust and focus that can only come from a solid relationship with Him. It's not always easy but it's ALWAYS worth it.

Printed suits are a fun way to make a bold statement. It's very important to pay attention to your accessories when styling a suit in a busy pattern. Minimal touches work best because you can go from trying to make a statement to looking a mess. Bold suits in neutral colors, such as black and white, are easier to style in my opinion. With simpler colors you can play with more intricate prints.

For this past Sunday's Church Style, I dug deep in the closet and pulled out this gem. After many alterations, this suit came together quite well. I decided for my accessories to pair a white button up with blue suede pumps.

Cropped pants works best with very high heels (#tallgirltip).

Hope you enjoy!
