Serving: Fenty Beauty Review

There's been great hype over the new launch of Rihanna's new makeup line, Fenty Beauty. Of course like any makeup junkie I had to check it out. This past Friday I had the chance to play around in some of the products and today I had the opportunity to try more of them out. But before I dive into my review, I would like to commend Rihanna and her team for the inclusiveness of this line. Out of the gate, she has 40 foundation shade ranges!! That is so huge!! Rihanna has gone on record, stating that her reason for having such a large range is because she's tired of going onto sets and makeup artist not having a foundation color to flatter her skin tone. Which to me is unbelievable!! Whether you love or hate the brand, she definitely has set the standard on how brands should approach the world of makeup.

In addition to the foundations, she's come out with highlighters, contour sticks, a blotting powder, a lip gloss and even makeup tools!

Some of my favorites from the line include the following:

The Fenty Gloss Bomb. The name speaks for itself, this gloss is bomb! It's not sticky and the color is very flattering. The doe-foot applicator is large enough for a precise application.

This product in the line is definitely the most talked about. This is the Killawatt highlighter in trophy wife. The pigmentation is not for the faint of heart! The yellow undertone compliments a myriad of deeper skin tones.

There are more products that I'm eager to try once the items restock. The price point is more on he higher end side, ranging from $20-40. However, overall the line is a go for me.
