As this beautiful Saturday comes to an end, nothing makes me happier than spending time with family and friends. Cultivating relationships is imperative and it amazes me how, for some reason it's an art that is so lost. Nowadays people jump into situations so fast and wonder why nothing lasts. Getting to know people beyond an iPhone screen is so negated. It's so frustrating to experience and believe that people are prone to believe that relationships can be forced. For anything to last it takes work and commitment, including relationships of any kind. I pray that we get back to actually getting to know people outside of their IG name.
Disclaimer: I was pressed to wear this dress! Unfortunately it's another dress I had to alter (the curse of these long legs). Gingham and ruffles, contrasting print were all in order for today.
Black and silver was the color scheme for today. So these edgy ballet flats were perfect for this look.
