"April showers bring May flowers". This is a phrase that we've all heard a time or many. If you really think about it, it can almost be considered an affirmation to life. Spring is a season where rainy days can be negated and we just look forward to the sunny days (*inserts* New Edition's "Can you Stand the Rain" lol); which unfortunately can also apply to life. When we think of life, we convince ourselves that the path to our destinies is a straight one. When actually, it has more bumps, turns, hills and valleys, then we care to imagine. However, just like the familiar phrase, showers always bring flowers. To be in "full bloom", one has to experience some form of rain. So during those dreary days/situations one has to rely on the fact that something will bloom eventually. So here's looking forward to being in "full bloom".
I must admit that lately, I've been uninspired creatively. However, one has to push through, so on to my #ootd.
When funds are limited for shopping, I pull out older pieces. Thank God for being able to keep my pieces in good shape. Lol. I paired this unique green sweater, with a pair of dark wash jeans and offset it with a pair of red flats.
Hope you enjoy!
