Serving: Setting Sail

When I think of a boat sailing I think of  movement, progression, and being focused on reaching a particular destination. It also employs an outside force, usually the wind, to propel it forward. What does it mean for us to sail in our own lives? If we really think about it, those same factors can be applied. However, it takes faith, commitment, discipline, and dedication to trust that our "sails" are being guided to exactly where we need to go. Contingent upon, who is our driving force. If it's anything else other than God, I guarantee you, you'll end up where you don't want to be. So on this beautiful Friday, I encourage us to check our "sails".

Nautical was the theme for today!! The weather is ever changing, and today is the first time all week the sun has been out. So you know what that means, the legs are out!!

Preparing to host my church's cruise theme Activity Night, I had to make sure I dressed accordingly. I threw in a stripped red and white dress, a navy boyfriend blazer, and green flats for a pop of color.

Hope you enjoy!!
