Serving: It's Not What it Looks Like

Today as we recognize Good Friday, I can't help but to think that 2017 years ago, things seemed far from good. Watching a man being crucified? What could possibly be good about that?  Not to mention, being crucified for no valid reason; "good" would be the last word used to describe that day at that time. However, thousands of years later we reflect on that day to remind us of what it took for us to have a relationship with God. Someone so perfect, made a choice to to give up his life so we might have life and a relationship with the One who gave us life.

"It's always darkest before dawn." Many times it's so dark that you can't believe that light will ever shine in your life/situation again. You even get to the point where you're honestly tired of believing. Whether people admit it or not, everyone experiences some point in their lives where they feel that way. Good Friday represents to me, that anything that was once dead, can live again. Spiritually that is determined by what we speak, which usually always translates into the natural. We make a decision, everyday, what we speak life to and what we kill by not speaking.  Today is the perfect day to take inventory of the fruit of your speaking. (Mine included)

Keeping things extremely simple today, I wanted to relay a simple yet very important message...Jesus Saves!!

Hope you enjoy!
