Happy Sunday!!! It's Sunday, the second day of April and spring is in air. As the seasons are changing in the natural, I believe that's the case in the spiritual. In my opinion there's no such thing as a "good" or "bad" season. As with the natural seasons, there are storms, cloudy days, sunny days, so on and so forth. Are we changing with the seasons? Are we cleaning and preparing for the next? Are we planting to see what grows? Are we pruning and purging the things we need to get rid of? Or are we complacent? Are we expecting things to grow without having planted a thing? Are we allowing the weeds and decay of life to choke and prevent us from moving forward? Opening yourself up to those said questions, without the aid of others is the only way seasons in, my opinion, are beneficial. So on this Sunday, at the top of this season, what are you looking forward to, reaping, harvesting, or complacency?
Now on to the look, black was on the menu for today! Typically when I wear black from head to toe, I have to play with some form of texture. So for today I pulled out an oldie but goodie, a black pencil dress with a leather insert.
When it comes to jewelry, I only wear minimal pieces, unless I'm looking to make a statement. That was the case, with this bold Egyptian inspired piece.
Simple black pumps rounded out the look.
Hope you enjoy!
