Serving: Feeling Magenta

On one of my favorite television shows, Golden Girls, there's an episode where one of the characters (Blanche) explains feeling "magenta". She states that you're not really blue (sad) or red (angry), just "magenta". Not really understanding what you are feeling, but knowing that you're feeling something that's not good.

It amazes me that every time I'm in a situation that causes me to feel "magenta", there are people who make me realize I'm not in "it" alone. In my opinion, that's one of the first ways of knowing that it's ok to go through the process and it's ok to have those feelings.  It releases, the insecurities of "no one will understand me". Which in turn should help in making the decision of dealing and moving on from feeling "magenta".

For my look today, "magenta" was the color of choice. After having a totally different outfit planned for today, I decided to change minutes before walking out the door.

I decided to pair this deep plum blouse with a matching blazer. For a little juxtaposition, I added brown lace up booties.

Excuse the extra snow from today's shoot. The snow wouldn't let me be great! Lol

Hope you enjoy!!
