Serving: Cherish the Day

Over the last two days I've had the unfortunate reminder that life is so short. The Bible compares it,  in James 4:14, to a vapor that appears for a while and then vanishes. Which could be the reason why there are several reminders in the good book of not to worry about anything but pray about everything (Philippians 4:6-7). We often times get so consumed with things that seem significant, and honestly, they are significant! However, even in the presence of those said issues we have a choice. A choice to believe a pre-conceived notion of how the situation will turn out or trust in the one who will work everything out for good. Learning to always do the later takes time, patience and practice. It also, gives you freedom to cherish each day we're gifted. Because the only certain thing about life is it will end, which makes the things we may be worried about seem pointless. Cherish this day and everyday gifted to you, because tomorrow is definitely a maybe.

My look for today was super casual. I decided to rock a linen jacket that has never seen the light of day, along with my maroon perforated booties.

If you have been following me for sometime, you have probably noticed that these have slowly become my favorite pair of jeans.

Stepping out of my comfort zone a bit, I decided to add in a necklace. I'm honestly not one too big on accessories, especially necklaces. However, I felt this look needed some shine, with a chrome chocker.

Hope you enjoy!
