Serving: Lucite Sights

Have you ever been dealing with an internal issue/s for so long that you have literally been sick of thinking about it, talking about, or even praying about it? Dealing with the emotions associated with the particular issue/s is another thing in itself. Sometimes some people aren't honest with themselves about what is causing the issue/s and don't know how to deal with it, others are aware and refuse to seek help to deal, and then there are some who are aware and try so hard to aggressively get help to deal. Not placing judgement on anyone, however I believe that I'm one who tries to always choose the latter. Within the last year it has been essential for me to aggressively deal with the issue/s that have been borderline plaguing me. It has almost been to the degree of obsession. I have made up in my mind that God has given me the right resources/help (His Word, Prayer, Counseling Spiritual Mentors, etc) to aggressively deal with any of my issues. It requires work, that sometimes can be overwhelming, but it is a must that it has to be done. I believe that God has graced each and every one of us with the ability to overcome anything. We just have to make the choice!

Now on to my look for the day. Lucite heels have been a recurring trend for years. Stemming from the 70s platform trend, there are so many great colors and styles to play up any look. Today I decided to wear my new favorite pair, they were a great way to incorporate a cool factor into what could've been a simple outfit.

Denim on denim is one of my go-to outfits for when I want to allow my shoes to be the showstoppers. It is simple enough where it doesn't compete with a unique shoe style however, still bold enough to make a statement. The key in making sure the look is cohesive is not worry too much about the different washes of the denim. By the actual color being a neutral (blue) it is the perfect combination to any fun, crazy, trendy shoe choice.

For a dramatic flair I added a white leather moto jacket, which I definitely did not need. Beautiful weather today (check out my post from yesterday on my tips on how to wear white in the winter).

These beauties have a 70s edge with a 90s vibe. I loved the way two eras were incorporated into one boot! lol.

Hope you enjoy!
