Serving: Leather and Pearls, Church Style

Juxtaposition in fashion is an art where two contrasting pieces are paired together to make a cohesive statement. For this look, I started out with a feminine fabric, lace, and pearls. To juxtapose the rest of this outfit, I added a leather moto-jacket. Within the dress, there is a bit of edge with the bright colors. Typically soft feminine pieces can be paired with more edgier ones. Take a look on how I achieved juxtaposition:

Opaque tights are a great transitional piece for summer/spring dresses in the fall.


Black pumps were added to elongate the leg line.
