Here's a #TBT from this past Easter (2016). Growing up, Easter Sunday was the one time of year I was guaranteed a new outfit. A new dress, a new pair of shoes, pressed hair...the whole nine! My mother made an effort to make that day a very special one. As an adult I still try to keep with that tradition for myself. I make sure I buy a nice dress and try to go "all out" for Easter Sunday. This year I did something totally out of the norm by wearing black. Take a look how I achieved this look:
Since black is a color that is not typically associated with Easter, I made an effort to keep the look extra feminine. Pearls and lace helped me stick to that feminine approach.
The headband was a little DIY project that I created. My mother had this interesting fabric and I glued it to a simple black headband. lol
Hope you enjoy!
