For a family cookout on Memorial Day, I decided to get a little jazzy. I have been really leaning to the crop top trend this summer, I like the idea of the different sex appeal it gives. I also love how it can be flattering on different body types, from plus size women (such as myself) and even smaller women. To add interest to this look I decided to incorporate two trends in one. Mixing prints is something that I have been doing for many years. The only rule that I follow as it relates to this trend is making sure that one print is significantly smaller than the other one. To keep with the tribal theme, I added a bold Aztec necklace.

To complete the look, I added a pop of color with my favorite red flats. (They are the most ugliest shoes but they are so comfortable and goes with everything! lol)
