I currently work for a non-profit agency as a certified Substance Abuse Counselor. Most of my time is spent in the community, so there is no particular dress code. Most of my coworkers are usually in jeans and sneakers due to the nature of our work. So of course when I started working with my team, they probably thought I was nuts, strutting in the office wearing heels! For most of my career I was required to dress professionally and it is difficult for me to completely negate that mindset of looking professional while seeing clients. So I try to my best to have fun with the outfits I create going to work. For this look I decided to keep it chic and fun.
For a pop of color, I added a red lip and my hot pink fingernail polish.
I decided to keep things simple with a white v-neck tee shirt with a black pencil skirt with suspenders.
To top things off I added a black bowl hat and some specs to keep things fun.
